Episode 10: Zero Dark Thirty

Phil, Greg and Andy close out 2012 in grand fashion with Zero Dark Thirty, Kathryn Bigelow’s take on the manhunt for Osama Bin Laden.  Then, Greg treats us to a few bars from the big screen adaption of Les Miserables, Phil ponders his favorite book being turned into a movie in Walter Salles’ adaption of Jack Kerouac’s On the Road and Andy just kills it on Killing Them Softly.  A happy new moviegoing year to all.

Episode 9: Lincoln

Greg, Andy and Phil talk Steven Spielberg’s Lincoln.  Then Andy brings us briefly into the weird, weird adaptation of Anna Karenina by Joe Wright, Phil thinks David O. Russell’s got a golden second half to the Silver Linings Playbook, and Greg tries to sneak in a bit about Zero Dark Thirty before we shut him down and force him to tell us about Life of Pi in 3D.  We end with some additional thoughts about Holy Motors.
